Integrating Google with Biscuits web pages

Tag Manager

Google is not installed on this domain.
X

Rather than having <script> tags inserted into your pages, with all the management that requires, you can allow google to maintain these scripts for you via tag manager . All you need to do is paste a container snippet on every page of your site.

Google Tag Manager Code

Google Tag manager code snippet not yet installed.

Installing Google Tag Manager Code Snippet

Save the code snippet to a file named google-tag-manager.php and then set $this->google = true in your config.php file. The Biscuits engine will take care of the rest.

With Google Tag Manager, marketers will be able to add, edit or remove marketing and measurement tags without the intervention of webmasters. This will speed the process from the marketing perspective and will free webmasters to work on other important tasks. The power of Google Tag Manager also extends to IT managers, they have more control over tags and a safe place to test how they would affect the website before publishing them.

To get started managing your tags using Google Tag Manager:
  1. Go to tagmanager.google.com to create a Google Tag Manager account (or to access an existing account).
  2. Create a container for your site or app.

Copy the code snippet into your website. Click Admin at the top on the horizontal menu and Install on the right panel of Container options

  3. For websites: Add the container snippet to your site while removing any existing tags.
